ABC was founded in 1950, so a 70 year old organization now. And probably the biggest way it’s changed construction forever and nationwide is, it’s opened it up more, to be a merit based organization. not dominated by unions or by union rules or procedures or inefficiencies. So I would say that and unfortunately some of the violence that also came along with union domination of the work sites in decades past is probably the biggest way ABC has changed the industry.

More recently, one of the ways ABC changed the industry is through the navigating through the COVID 19 crisis. So in Florida specifically, it was ABC that really led the way because of our commitment. Because of the resources and the boots that we have on the ground, to have daily, hourly conversations with the mayors, with the governor, to make sure that as those pressure rose to try to shut down construction, that we remained an essential business.

And we did, throughout the crisis, and it was in large part due to ABC’s efforts. So, that’s a great example of how ABC has changed the industry.
